I figured out the rack is stuck in the unit injection pump closest to the generator - is this called the "back" cylinder? I took the rack apart and removed the unit injection pump. You will see from the pics, I have the side plate off and the tops off. I drained the oil and changed the oil filter, but had some trouble getting oil back into the thing. I believe this means it is an 18.2 gross horsepower engine. 'A' means reverse rotation (compared with the English spec)Ģ5 is the year of manufacture = 1975 (1950 + 25) 4763ST2A25 which I gather means the following because of the grouping on the plate: I'm not new to diesels however, I just love the simplicity of my latest engine. I just picked up my first Lister diesel engine this past weekend.
